Keeping up with social media can feel like a full-time job, especially when you’re trying to manage multiple platforms at once. I’ll be the first to admit it: I have tried many times to stay consistent and failed. It is one of the more difficult pursuits in the digital marketing world. However, I have just been given a new way forward with an automated system that is changing the game for me.

Introducing MarkoMax: The Social Media Game-Changer

GotBackup has recently introduced a powerful new accessory called MarkoMax. It is a dedicated social media planner designed to take the headache out of scheduling. Whether you want to post once a day or ten times a day across as many channels as you like, this tool is built to deliver results.

I have already set up my Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts. Consequently, I now have posts scheduled and ready to go for weeks in advance! For those who want an even faster start, GVO has pre-loaded a series of posts that are ready to go. You simply pick your channel and let the system do the heavy lifting.

Is It Easy? Yes and No (But Mostly Yes!)

I’ll be honest with you—while the system is incredibly simple once you know what you’re doing, I found the initial instructions a bit short on detail. I actually had some trouble getting my very first post out. The layout is clean, featuring a Calendar, a Campaign Page, an Analytics Page, and a Media Page. Everything you need is right there, but there is one “hidden” step that tripped me up.

To save you the frustration I went through, here is my 10-step guide to setting up a post in MarkoMax:

  1. Load Your Links: Start by connecting your social media profiles.
  2. Create Your Campaigns: Decide what you want to say. I currently have four different campaigns running for different products.
  3. Choose Your Timing: Select a day and time. You can post immediately or schedule it for the future.
  4. Pick Your Campaign: Select the relevant campaign from your list.
  5. Write Your Content: I took the easy route here and asked Gemini to write a series of 10 posts for me, then I simply copied and pasted them.
  6. Add Your Media: Upload a new image or use one saved in your media file.
  7. Add Your Comment: This is a crucial step. I always put my website link here.
  8. Select Your Social Media (The “Secret” Step): Look at the top left of the page. You must manually select the social media icons you want to post to. I kept missing this, and even the intro video didn’t make it click for me. You cannot post without doing this!
  9. Finalize and Check: Post to your campaign and then check your Calendar to ensure it is entered correctly.
  10. Repeat: Start your next post and build your queue.

The Results Are In

The Analytics Page is fantastic because it tells you everything you want to know. After only three days of using MarkoMax, I have nearly 600 views, which is absolutely fantastic! More importantly, I am seeing actual hits on my links.

One early tip I highly recommend: go through the pre-loaded posts from Joel (the founder) and add your own link in the comments. This gives you a great chance of picking up a sale right out of the gate.

A Quick SEO Tip: For those who don’t know, putting a link directly in a post can often lead to being penalized by Google or social algorithms. That is why we put our links in the first comment. It keeps the post “clean” while still telling readers exactly where to look for us.

The Bottom Line: Is It Worth It?

I have been with GotBackup for many years. Their pricing is low, their products are rock-solid, and the market for data backup is huge. Currently, the initial price for this setup is just $10 a month, though that is expected to increase in a few weeks as the tool evolves.

Is it worth it? Absolutely. Once you get into the swing of things, it is quick, easy, and incredibly exciting to see those views building every single day. If you’ve struggled with social media consistency as I have, MarkoMax might just be the partner you’ve been looking for.
